Album Review: Nat Baldwin, “Most Valuable Player”

I’m just going to say it plainly….ex-Dirty Projector Nat Baldwin’s album “Most Valuable Player” (Broken Sparrow) is great. Recorded by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, the album’s sound is heavily influenced by the Dirty Projector’s. Dave Longstreth (mastermind of DP) plays on the album. This album is slowly moving into the 2nd place spot for Best of Album of the Year. For fans of the Dirty Projectors (obviously) and Phosphorescent. Be sure to check out these tracks off the album…
